We recently completed a lovely little upgrade project in Stourbridge, where a customer wanted to freshen up her existing doors and windows. The original units featured traditional diamond leaded glass — classic, but they blocked a surprising amount of natural light. She asked if we could replace the leaded panes with new, crystal-clear glass to modernise the room and brighten the entire space.
What We Did
- Removed the old diamond-lead glass units
- Installed brand-new clear double-glazed panels
- Checked all seals, hinges and locking points
- Ensured a perfect, draught-free fit
The transformation was instant. The new glass made the room feel bigger, brighter and far more modern, all without replacing the actual frames — a huge cost saving compared to a full door or window replacement.
